Talent Runs in Small Circles.

Where would we be without the talented people that we surround ourselves with? And over the years, Pipe & Tabor has worked with some of the best! (and we’re more than willing to share). One of our long time designers and now guest artist, Calvin Ross Carl can be found not only adjusting his kerning, but also creating some of the most challenging art around, while also reporting on the local Portland art scene in OpenWide PDX. Maybe you will catch him some First Thursday down in the Pearl. Among the most talent natural eyes in Photography I’ve seen in a long time, Leah Harb creates images that you never saw coming. We’re grateful for all of the big and small moments that she’s helped us capture. Karen Gibson colors our world Orange, and has been a valuable asset as of lately, no matter how you slice it. The perfect marriage of Photography and Design, Mary and her husband Joel Schroeder open windows we never could on our own. Combine that with a smile and joy that brings that certain Je ne sais quoi to a project! Another talented Designer and Photographer combo, Elena Wilken keeps me always having to rephrase myself, as I realize that the idiomatic expressions I grew up with, were not the ones she grew up with. I always miss that simple joy in the office to this day! She has that feminine touch that… well, I don’t. The ultimate in Renaissance men, Parker Fitzgerald carries more around in his arsenal, then Chuck Norris. Illustrator, Photographer (digital and old school cameras that we still get film shipments for today), designer and socialite, does anyone not know Parker (and his work)?

We hope we will continue to meet and surround ourselves with some of the Creative best. Maybe you’d like to run with us as well?
